In August and September, two of the world's most prestigious vintage car elegance competitions took place. The Californian Pebble Beach Concours d´Elegance and the Chateau Chantilly Concours d´Elegance held near Paris.
The work of our restoration division was represented by Talbot Lago T26 Grand Sport cars at both events.
In America, a 1948 Saoutchik-bodied car claimed victory in its class and was nominated for the best car of the competition.
At Chateau Chantilly, we were represented by a car from 1949, bodyworked by Antem. The combination of racing chassis with a fantastic bodywork convinced the judges and they declared us Best of Show without any doubt.
Both results are phenomenal, and we owe a lot to the fantastic team of experts we have in Chropyne.
